I'm a veteran, I have a wife and 2 kids, and spent years working in armed
security before my family schedule conflicted with my 60 plus hour a
week job. I chose my family and haven't regretted it, even when the
mortgage is late. I've had a weird work life, including salvage diving, and I
plan on staying in real estate until in worth at least $10 million and I can
rub it in the faces of the doubters. Or something like that.
